I'm Opening a Bookstore!

Or at least that's the plan...

You probably haven’t noticed but I’ve not been posting from this substack for a while as I’ve been busy on deadline filing a third book with Wendy Mitchell. This book, working title ONE LAST THING, will be out next year, but in the meantime, I need something to keep me busy over the winter.

And that leads me onto my new substack, The Book Room.

I have migrated you all over there for now seeing as that is where I will be posting from. I do hope you’ll stay on as a subscriber – it’s still free! – and from there you will be able to follow my journey from author to bookstore owner. Or at least that’s the plan!

I would love for as many of you as possible to support this lofty ambition of mine and help turn a simple newsletter into a bricks and mortar shop. It seems to me, with the state of the world as it is, there is no better time to support small and start-up businesses that want to enhance their communities be that locally or online, and over the next few weeks and months I’ll be telling you how you can do that, as well as offering you my thoughts on writing and the book world.
