A friend sent me a quote the other day that she had found on social media that revealed a truth to her about writing that she had never realised before. This friend of mine is a very accomplished and brilliant writer, she has ghostwritten many, many books, a lot of them have been Sunday Times Bestsellers, and she is currently trying to write her own memoir.

I have been helping her in the last few months because — strange as it may seem — even a professional memoir writer needs help writing their own memoir.

Yet this quote had unlocked for her what I had been trying to impress on her for some time.
