Write With Me Club: September

We’re back tomorrow and we’re discussing writing difficult subjects… and puppies

We’re back! The holidays are over, the sun has disappeared (at least where I am) the pups are born and tomorrow night we will be gathering again for our postponed September Write With Me Club.

A short one from me today but lots of puppy pictures to come — what I cannot offer you in words because I am fetching and carrying for Tilki and her seven pups (refilling hot water bottles, making chicken water in my Nutribullet, changing towels and the like) I will make up to you with photos, because I know that’s what you really want from me.

Anyway, just to quickly say, tomorrow our meet up will focus on writing difficult topics, tackling difficult scenes, if you’re writing memoir that includes dealing with issues of family and friends. I know this piece I wrote last week (the week before? I don’t even know what day it is anymore!) really resonated for a lot of you:

So yes, let’s get together and dig into it a bit further, oh and hopefully I’ll persuade Tilki to let you see the puppies.
