I will also be in a better headspace to focus on my writing for pitches as I’ve been working hard on rebuilding my corporate work the last couple of months. Yes first Chicago marathon then on to Hawaii, I’ve not had a proper holiday since last August (hence the rebuilding) so going hard 😂 🏝️ xx
It’s mostly aimed at getting pieces into mainstream media, not literary publications, but in some ways there is no reason why the same cannot be applied in some way to more literary essays.

I am afraid i don't have time to read anything at the moment as I'm a bit snowed under but I am sure that if you want to pitch your posts to commissioning editors – any commissioning editors – you will still find you can adapt what you learn in the workshop to do that. Yes, thanks! Yes, went ahead and upgraded in any case — didn’t want to put you on the spot to glance at the Substack in case it was an imposition. And as I mentioned in the upgrade note, I’m sure that there will be some workshop that will be a good fit, whether or not this one is. Will think about this one and doublecheck the dates.
Sorry for the delayed reply! Have been dithering because I read the description over again and truly can't tell whether it would b relevant for the kind of stuff I write. But will give it a try if slots are still open, as it sounds like an interesting insight into an interesting world. Are any three dates available at this point (that is, the ones that filled up earlier but may have had cancellations, or the third in November)?
